Synopsis : Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is a lavish movie that deals with the issues of class distinction and the roles of women and men in marriage. Lovely Singh follows Divya to her college as her Bodyguard. Divya gets irritated with him following them all day. To throw him off-track and get him out of the way, she comes up with a 'master-plan'- that of trapping him in a fake love affair, so that once he's smitten by the girl of his dreams, he will leave them alone.

She started making fake calls to Lovely Singh, trying to get rid off him. Divya is the girl who calls him telling she is very much in love with him and all those stuffs. At first things goes smooth but later things take an unexpected turns. Divya soon finds herself trapped in a dilemma that she's unable to resolve! And with her, soon enough, Lovely Singh finds himself ensnared in a web of lies, trickery and deceit! What happens next deals with the climax.
